What this site does with data
Alford AI (“we”) is a business run by Jonas Alford, based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit alfordai.com.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics and no third-party tracking of any kind. The page picks a light or dark theme from your device clock. If you use the theme switch, that choice stays in your browser until you close the tab, then it is forgotten. None of it leaves your device and we cannot see it.
The contact form
The contact form does not send anything to a server we control. When you press the button, your own email app opens with the details you typed already filled in. Nothing is transmitted until you choose to send that email. At that point we have whatever you sent, meaning your name, your email address and your message.
Email you send us
If you email jonas@alfordai.com we keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to reply and to run any resulting work, then we delete it. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share your details with anyone.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address, request time and the page requested, for security and reliability. Those logs sit with the provider under their own terms and we do not use them to build any profile of you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email jonas@alfordai.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
